Ambassador Sergio Gor, the US Special Envoy for South and Central Asia, has extended his best wishes to Dinesh Trivedi as he assumes his new role as India’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh.
In a message shared on the social media platform X on Thursday, Ambassador Gor emphasised the importance of the appointment and expressed his intention to maintain strong diplomatic coordination.

“Wishing High Commissioner Dinesh Trivedi all the very best as he assumes his important role as India’s new High Commissioner to Bangladesh,” Gor stated.
Highlighting the regional significance of the position, the US Special Envoy added, “As the US Special Envoy for South and Central Asia, I look forward to working closely with him.”
Trivedi takes over the top diplomatic post at the Indian High Commission in Dhaka, succeeding former ambassador Pranay Verma.
