The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) hosted a seminar on US higher education, graduate study, scholarships and application strategies on 24 September 2026 at its campus in Dhaka, offering students guidance on admission requirements, application procedures and funding opportunities.
The 60-minute session was conducted by EducationUSA advisers Sohel Iqbal and Gulshan Alam of The American Center, and Shynan Rahman of EMK Center. The advisers discussed key requirements for admission to US universities, the graduate study application process and available financial aid and scholarship opportunities, ULAB said in a statement.
ULAB Vice-Chancellor Shamsad Mortuza highlighted the importance of international exposure and informed academic planning for students seeking higher education abroad.
He encouraged students to explore global academic opportunities and make informed decisions about their future studies and careers.
The session also featured interactive quizzes, with students receiving EducationUSA gifts for correct responses. The seminar provided students with direct guidance from EducationUSA advisers on admissions, scholarships and application strategies for graduate studies in the United States.
