Referring to the country’s education and health sectors as the “biggest investment areas,” BNP National Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury has stated that the future of Bangladesh will be led by the meritorious.
The BNP leader added, “The Bangladesh of tomorrow will be led by the meritorious. Without merit, one cannot become a good doctor or engineer, just as one cannot become a good politician. We must know how to utilise the world of merit. The better the quality of one’s education, the more global doors will open for them.”
He also added that there the BNP’s plan to create one crore new employments will be implemented within 18 months of the BNP coming to power.
Amir Khosru said, “Young people are graduating but not getting jobs. This situation must change. We will create one crore job opportunities. Whatever investment is required, the BNP will provide it.”
He made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at a reception programme for meritorious SSC and HSC students, organised by the Chattogram Metropolitan BNP at the Engineers Institute on Tuesday at 3pm.
Presided over by Member Secretary Nazimur Rahman, the chief discussants at the reception programme included the Convener of the BNP’s Media Cell, Mowdud Hossain Alamgir Pavel, Chattogram Divisional Organising Secretary Mahbuber Rahman Samim, Joint Organizing Secretary Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin, Advocate Abdus Sattar, and others.
