Three people died with measles-like symptoms in the past 24 hours until Saturday morning, while 702 new suspected cases and 84 laboratory and clinically confirmed cases were detected across the country, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The figures were released in a special statement issued by the Integrated Control Centre of the DGHS on Saturday.
The latest deaths were reported from Mymensingh, Sylhet and Chattogram divisions, with one suspected measles death recorded in each division.
According to the health authorities, a total of 1,10,601 suspected measles cases have been reported across Bangladesh between 15 March and 11 July, 2026.
Of these, 13,410 cases have been confirmed through laboratory tests and clinical assessments.
During the period, the country recorded 93 confirmed measles-related deaths, while the number of suspected deaths stood at 660.
Hospital records showed that 660 new measles patients were admitted across the country in the last 24 hours, while 528 patients were discharged after recovery.
Since 15 March, a total of 93,491 suspected measles patients have been admitted to hospitals nationwide, of whom 89,762 have recovered and returned home.
Dhaka division continues to report the highest number of infections, with 50,196 suspected cases and 8,688 confirmed cases.
The division has recorded 285 suspected deaths and 57 confirmed measles-related deaths. Chattogram division has the second-highest number of infections, with 19,470 suspected cases, 1,513 confirmed cases, 10 confirmed deaths and 54 suspected deaths.
Among other divisions, Barishal reported 11,327 suspected cases and 477 confirmed cases, along with 19 confirmed deaths and 42 suspected deaths.
Rajshahi recorded 8,370 suspected cases, 1,216 confirmed cases, two confirmed deaths and 89 suspected deaths. Sylhet reported 6,299 suspected cases, 474 confirmed cases, three confirmed deaths and 89 suspected deaths.
Mymensingh recorded 5,180 suspected cases, 500 confirmed cases, two confirmed deaths and 71 suspected deaths. Khulna reported 7,685 suspected cases, 348 confirmed cases and 29 suspected deaths, while Rangpur recorded 2,074 suspected cases, 194 confirmed cases and nine suspected deaths.
