The Grand Finale of “Bashundhara Exercise Book Presents ADwiz 2.0, Powered by X Ceramics Group,” a national-level advertisement making competition, was held at the Multi-Purpose Hall of BRAC University on Saturday, 15 August 2026.
Team Unnoyon from the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) emerged as the Champion of the competition. Another team from BUP, 1sttimer?, secured the position of First Runner-Up, while AdVerse from BRAC University was named the Second Runner-Up.
Organised by the BRAC University Business Club – BIZ BEE, the competition provided undergraduate students from across the country a platform to showcase their skills in marketing, consumer insights, creativity, and strategic communication.
This year’s event saw significant engagement, with more than 750 teams and nearly 3,000 students from over 50 universities participating.
The competition featured a total prize pool of BDT 350,000. The Champion received BDT 200,000, while the First and Second Runners-Up were awarded BDT 100,000 and BDT 50,000 respectively.
The journey to the finale involved multiple stages, beginning with the ‘Battle of Horizons’ round, where teams developed advertising concepts. Selected teams then advanced to ‘The Battle Room’ for further evaluation of their execution plans.
In the final round, participants presented creative solutions to real-world marketing challenges before a distinguished panel of industry professionals.
The panel of judges included Imranul Kabir, Assistant General Manager, Brand & Marketing, Safwan Bashundhara Global; Mahmudur Rahman Bhuiyan, Director, Field Marketing Operations, ACI; Mohammed Zia Uddin, Supply Director, Reckitt; and Khairul Basher, Director of Communications, BRAC University.
Speaking at the event, Dr David Dowland, Registrar of BRAC University, expressed his pride in the students’ initiative.
“I have always believed that young people have the ability to create something extraordinary through their creativity and initiative,” he said, adding that BIZ BEE members are turning the dream of student-led major initiatives into reality.
Wajih Tousif, President of BIZ BEE, noted that bringing back the event in a renewed format presented both high expectations and pressure. “However, through the collective efforts, hard work, and creativity of our entire team, we were able to overcome every challenge,” he stated.
BIZ BEE is a student-led organisation dedicated to connecting academic learning with practical experience through engagement with industry professionals and real-world business challenges.
