Tarique to address 8 election rallies in Dhaka

BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman is scheduled to address eight rallies in Dhaka on Monday.

Tarique will focus on his own constituency along with seven parliamentary seats within Dhaka South City Corporation. His schedule begins around 11am in the Dhaka-17 constituency, where he will speak at Banani Kamal Ataturk Avenue playground.

He is then slated to address rallies at Kalabagan Krira Chakra ground for Dhaka-10 around 12pm, Peer Jangi Mazar Road for Dhaka-8 around 1pm, and Manda Tarun Sangha field for Dhaka-9 around 2pm.

The campaign will continue into the afternoon with speeches at Jatrabari Shahid Faruk Road (Dhaka-5) around 3pm, Dayaganj–Jurain Road (Dhaka-4) around 4pm, and Dhupkhola field (Dhaka-6) around 5pm.

His final engagement for the day is set for 6pm at Lalbagh Balur Maath for the Dhaka-7 constituency.

Tarique maintained a similar schedule on Sunday, beginning at ECB Chattar around 2pm and Lal Maath in Pallabi Ward No. 2 near the Metro Station around 2:40pm. He then moved to Senpara Parbat Adarsha High School near the Mirpur-10 roundabout around 3:30pm, followed by a rally opposite Mirpur Model Thana around 4:20pm.

His Sunday campaign concluded with addresses at Shyamoli Club field around 5:10pm and Sunvalley field in Satarukul of Badda around 6pm.

These rallies come ahead of the 13th National Parliamentary Election, scheduled for February 12. Candidates are permitted to conduct public electioneering until 7:30am on Tuesday, marking the official end of the campaign period.
