Popular small-screen actor Tania Brishty hinted at a third brain surgery on Friday (April 3) as part of her ongoing battle with a brain tumour, marking another critical phase in her treatment journey.
Tania has been fighting the illness for several months and had previously undergone two surgeries. However, doctors advised a third operation to ensure a better chance at recovery.
In a Facebook status, she wrote, “3rd surgery, life is beautiful, Tania.” Despite its brevity, the message reflected her resilience and determination to overcome the life-threatening condition.
Following the post, an outpouring of support flooded social media, with colleagues, fans and members of the entertainment industry expressing solidarity and wishing her a swift recovery. Admirers have been particularly moved by her courage and positive outlook during such a difficult time.
Tania Brishty’s health struggle began in February this year. On February 14, she underwent her first brain tumour surgery at Bangladesh Specialized Hospital in Dhaka. However, complications arose after the initial procedure, prompting her transfer to India for advanced treatment.
She was later taken to Chennai, where a second surgery was performed on March 9. Following close medical observation by doctors there, the decision was made to proceed with a third operation based on her condition.
At present, concern persists within the entertainment fraternity regarding her health and post-operative recovery. Fellow actors and industry figures have publicly extended their support, including Imtiaz Barshon, Isteaque Ahmed, Monira Akter Mithu, Rawnak Hasan, Tanven Sweety, Intekhab Dinar, Debashish Biswas and many others.
All are united in hope that the beloved actor will overcome this challenging chapter and return to the screen with renewed strength. Her unwavering positivity, even in the face of serious illness, has inspired many and continues to offer hope to her fans.
