Portugal have set their final warm up match before the World Cup. They will face Nigeria on June 10, the Portuguese Football Federation confirmed.

The venue is yet to be announced. Reports in Portuguese media say the match will take place in Leiria.

Portugal already have another friendly lined up. They will play Chile on June 6 at the National Stadium in Oeiras.

The team has shown mixed form in recent matches. They drew 0-0 with co hosts Mexico at the Azteca Stadium. They then beat the United States 2-0 in Atlanta.

Portugal will begin their World Cup campaign on June 17. They face the Democratic Republic of Congo in their first Group K match in Houston. Congo had knocked Nigeria out in the qualifiers.

Their next match is against Uzbekistan on June 23, also in Houston. Portugal will then play Colombia on June 27 in Miami.

The World Cup will run from June 11 to July 19. Matches will be held across Canada, the United States and Mexico.
