Spotify has launched a new fan experience called ‘Spotify 20: Your Party of the Year(s)’ as part of celebrations marking the platform’s 20th anniversary.
The feature, introduced on the Spotify app on Tuesday, allows users to look back at their listening habits over the years through personalised statistics and interactive features.
Users can revisit details including the first day they joined Spotify, the first song they streamed, the total number of unique tracks they have played and their most-streamed artist of all time.
The streaming platform is also rolling out a customised playlist featuring each user’s top 120 most-played songs, complete with individual play counts.
Like the company’s annual Spotify Wrapped campaign, the new experience includes shareable cards designed for posting on social media.
The feature is available to both premium subscribers and free users.
As part of the anniversary campaign, Spotify also revealed its most-streamed content across several categories for the first time.
Taylor Swift was named the most-streamed artist in Spotify history, while ‘Un Verano Sin Ti’ by Bad Bunny was identified as the platform’s most-streamed album.
‘Blinding Lights’ by The Weeknd was revealed as the most-streamed song of all time on Spotify.
The company also said ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ was the most-streamed podcast on the platform, while ‘A Court of Thorns and Roses’ by Sarah J. Maas became the most-streamed audiobook among premium users.
