Popular singer Kazi Shuvo is set to return with a solo digital album after a decade. Titled Keu Bujhlo Na, the album will be released by Dhruba Music Station (DMS).
The album features nine songs, with lyrics by Tarun Munshi, late Pagol Hasan, A Mizan, Jisan Khan Shuvo, Salahuddin Sagar, Humayun Kabir, Arif Hossain Babu, Alamin Sarkar and Hanif Khan.
The songs have been composed by Tarun Munshi, late Pagol Hasan, Kazi Shuvo, Jisan Khan Shuvo, Humayun Kabir, Alamin Sarkar, Ahmed Sajeeb, Adib Kabir and Hanif Khan. Rafi Mohammad, Ahmed Sajeeb and Adib Kabir handled the musical arrangements.
Singer Badhon Sarker Puja has also joined Kazi Shuvo for a duet on one of the tracks.
Kazi Shuvo said he is delighted to release a solo album after such a long break. He expressed gratitude to DMS chief and singer Dhruba Guha for taking the initiative at a difficult time for the audio industry.
“I am extremely happy that my solo album is being released again after so many years. I am deeply grateful to Dhruba da for taking this risk at a difficult time for audio. It is certainly an exceptional initiative that will enrich the country’s audio industry,” Shuvo said.
He added that he tried to give each of the nine tracks a distinct character and expressed hope that listeners would enjoy the album.
Dhruba Guha said DMS took the initiative out of its commitment and love for Bengali music. He said the platform aims to take Bangla songs to audiences around the world while preserving their individuality, heritage and emotional appeal.
According to DMS, Keu Bujhlo Na will be released soon simultaneously on YouTube, Spotify and other music platforms in Bangladesh and abroad.
