Smart Technologies BD has launched the Sony 1000XM6 wireless noise-canceling headphones in Bangladesh at a special price of Tk 54,900 for pre-order customers, down from Tk 80,900, according to a press release.
The new model is equipped with advanced noise-canceling technology, featuring a dual Q2+V3 processor, 12 microphones, LDAC, and DSEE Extreme for superior sound quality.
The headphones also support dual-device connectivity, 360 Reality Audio, and are designed with a vegan leather headband for added comfort.
Pre-order customers received exclusive gifts, including a smart digital watch, smart earbuds, a 10,000mAh wireless power bank, and more.
The official launch took place at Hotel Intercontinental, Dhaka, on July 22, 2025.
The event was attended by Smart Technologies Director Tanvir Hossain, Head of Sony International Bangladesh Ricky Lukas, and several local celebrities.
The headphones feature 30mm carbon fibre drivers for high-quality sound and clear voice during calls.
They also offer quick charging, providing three hours of use after just three minutes of charging, with up to 30 hours on a full charge. The launch has been well-received, and the headphones are expected to offer an enhanced listening experience for users in Bangladesh.
