Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) has issued show-cause notices to three leaders of its Jahangirnagar University (JU) unit on charges of breaching organisational discipline.
The central office of JCD issued the notices on Thursday, directing the individuals to appear at the central office within 48 hours to provide a written explanation in the presence of the organisation’s president and general secretary.
The recipients of the notices are Md Selim Reza, joint convener; Md Zahid Hasan, member; and Md SM Tanim Hasan, member.
The notice mentioned that the decision was taken following instructions from JCD Central President Rakibul Islam Rakib and General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir.
The leaders have been asked to explain in writing why permanent organisational disciplinary action should not be taken against them for the alleged breach of discipline.
The press release was signed by JCD Office Secretary Md Jahangir Alam, who is holding the rank of JCD vice-president.
