West Bongram Youth Development Organisation set an example by repairing a bridge that had become unfit for public use in Dasar, Madaripur.
The organisation’s President Maulana Mohsin Uddin Azadi confirmed the matter on Friday following the completion of the repair work on the bridge located at the Bhurghata-Shashikar Road.
He said, “West Bongram Youth Development Organisation has been formed to carry out public welfare work and to serve the general public.”
Mohsin added, “We have taken this initiative with the aim of saving the youth from various misdeeds. Already, on behalf of this organisation, we have cleaned roads, Eidgah grounds, and public graveyards. And today, we have repaired a bridge that was unfit for public movement”.
The event was attended by the organisation’s vice-president alongside leaders and several other young members. Their efforts have been hailed as an exemplary contribution to the community.
