After a decade away from leading roles, Imran Khan is preparing to return to the screen with ‘Adhure Hum Adhure Tum’, which is now expected to premiere on an OTT platform in December, writes Hindustan Times.
The film, which was initially expected to arrive in early 2026, has faced delays. Imran said the makers are now targeting 18 December and are rushing to complete post-production.
“We have been told that they intend to release it in mid-December, on December 18, so we are rushing to finish the post-production and deliver it on time,” the actor said. He added that the exact date mattered less to him because the film would stream online rather than receive a theatrical release.
“I’m just glad that we can finally share this film with everyone,” he said.
The film also stars Bhumi Pednekkar as the female lead. Imran’s last leading role was in ‘Katti Batti’ (2015), although he made a cameo appearance earlier this year in ‘Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos’, backed by Aamir Khan and co-directed by Vir Das and Kavi Shastri.
The December release would mark a significant step in Imran’s return to acting after years away from the spotlight.
