The reunion of James and Hasan is expected to be one of the concert’s biggest attractions.
Both musicians have played influential roles in shaping Bangladesh’s band music landscape, with songs that have remained popular across generations.
James, widely known as the frontman of Nagar Baul, is celebrated for his distinctive vocals and energetic stage presence.
Hasan, the lead singer of Ark, has also earned a lasting place in the country’s rock history through the band’s memorable songs.
Their appearance at the same event offers fans an opportunity to revisit the music and memories associated with the golden era of Bangladeshi rock.
The Rock N Rhythm concert series began in 2022 and has gradually established itself as a platform for bringing together established performers and audiences from the country’s rock and metal communities.
The first edition took place in 2022, followed by the second and third editions in 2023 and the fourth in 2024.
For its fifth edition, the organisers are planning a larger-scale event, aiming to combine nostalgia with live performances from some of the country’s most recognised musicians.
With an extensive line-up and the much-anticipated reunion of James and Hasan, Rock N Rhythm 5.0 is shaping up to be a notable event on Dhaka’s live music calendar.
