Singer Arijit Singh has thanked his fans after his song Phir Se from Dhurandhar: The Revenge entered the Grammy consideration process in the Best Song Written for Visual Media category.
The singer shared the news on Instagram, expressing gratitude for the love and support his music continues to receive.
According to ANI News, the track is among several entries from the film’s soundtrack submitted for consideration at the 69th Grammy Awards, scheduled to take place in 2027.
Sharing the update, Arijit wrote, “#PhirSe from DHURANDHAR THE REVENGE for your GRAMMY consideration in the Best Song Written For Visual Media. Thank you for all the love.”
The submission marks an important step for the film’s music as its makers seek recognition on an international platform.
However, entering the Grammy consideration process does not guarantee an official nomination. The song must pass through the Recording Academy’s eligibility and voting procedures before the final nominees are announced.
The Grammy campaign extends beyond Phir Se. T-Series and B62 Studios have submitted several songs from Dhurandhar: The Revenge for consideration across multiple categories.
Phir Se, sung by Arijit Singh, has been submitted in the Best Song Written for Visual Media category. Other tracks from the soundtrack are also seeking recognition in different musical genres.
Aari Aari, featuring Bombay Rockers, Khan Saab, Jasmine Sandlas, Reble, Token and Sudhir Yaduvanshi, has been submitted in the Best Asian Pop Music Performance category.
Meanwhile, Jaan Se Guzarte Hai and Kanhaiyya have been submitted in the Best Global Music Performance category.
Jaiye Sajana, featuring Jasmine Sandlas and Satinder Sartaaj, is in consideration for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
The campaign also includes Destiny Mann Atkeya for Best Rap Performance, Vaari Jaavan for Best Dance/Electronic Recording and Hum Pyaar Karne Wale for Best Remixed Recording.
Composer Shashwat Sachdev created the film’s soundtrack, with lyrics by Irshad Kamil and Kumaar, alongside contributions from other artists on selected tracks.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar: The Revenge features Ranveer Singh in the lead role, alongside Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, Sara Arjun and other cast members.
Phir Se appears towards the end of the film, accompanying a significant moment in the journey of Ranveer Singh’s character, Jaskirat Singh Rangi, as he heads home after completing his mission in Pakistan.
The song adds an emotional dimension to the closing sequence, connecting the character’s experiences with the film’s broader narrative.
The soundtrack has attracted considerable attention alongside the franchise’s commercial success. Its Grammy consideration campaign now offers the music another opportunity to reach listeners beyond the Indian film industry.
While fans have welcomed the development, the final outcome will depend on the Recording Academy’s selection process.
For now, Arijit’s message of gratitude has put the spotlight on Phir Se and the wider soundtrack of Dhurandhar: The Revenge.
