Akij Board and Akij Door, two brands of AkijBashir Group, held the “Evolve Beyond Business Conference 2026″ at Robin Resources, a sister concern of the group, in Malaysia recently.
The conference brought together 800 participants, including 400 business associates, dealers and representatives of Akij Board and Akij Door, alongside 400 employees and dealers of Robin Resources, said a press release on Wednesday.
Discussions focused on business expansion, customer service and strengthening long-term partnerships. The programme also included visits to Genting Highlands and Berjaya Times Square Hotel, providing opportunities for participants to interact beyond the conference sessions.
Sheikh Bashir Uddin, managing director of AkijBashir Group, presented awards to dealers in recognition of their contributions and outlined the group’s strategic priorities.
The conference showcased four products: Synchro Melamine Board, featuring realistic surface textures; Deep Embossed Board, available in wavy and square patterns; Ultimatt Board, offering a matte finish; and Matching Digital Edge Band, designed to complement a range of board colours.
These products form part of Akij Board’s efforts to expand its surface solutions and respond to changing customer requirements.
Shamsuddin Ahmed, deputy managing director of AkijBashir Group; S K Zakaria Nashim, general manager of operations; Md Nazrul Islam, General Manager of sales; S K Md Mizanur Rahman, deputy general manager of production; Mirza Mashud, deputy general manager of sales; and other senior officials attended the event.
