Mutual Trust Bank (MTB) has signed an agreement with Sonali Bank to provide a card payment gateway solution, aiming to expand digital payment services and make transactions more secure and convenient for customers.
The agreement was signed at Sonali Bank’s head office in Dhaka, MTB said in a press release. The partnership is intended to support seamless payment experiences while strengthening Bangladesh’s digital banking ecosystem.
MTB Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Syed Mahbubur Rahman and Chief Digital Officer Khalid Hossin attended the signing ceremony.
Sonali Bank Managing Director Md Shawkat Ali Khan and Deputy Managing Director Md Rafiqul Islam were also present, alongside senior officials from both banks.
The two banks aim to expand access to digital payment solutions through the partnership, contributing to the development of the country’s digital banking services.
