The initiative marked another step in the growing partnership between JMI Specialized Hospital PLC and Apollo Hospitals, a South Asian healthcare network operating more than 76 hospitals and over 700 clinics across multiple countries.

The collaboration aims to provide Bangladeshi patients with affordable, international-standard healthcare services locally, reducing the need to travel abroad for treatment while supporting the development of the country’s healthcare sector.

The long-term partnership also seeks to strengthen Bangladesh’s potential as an emerging medical tourism destination.

During the programme, Apollo Clinic Dhanmondi highlighted its clinical performance, reporting that it had served more than 22,000 outpatients and treated over 2,500 inpatient cases.

The clinic also reported completing more than 1,000 surgical procedures and maintaining a surgical site infection rate below 1 per cent, which it cited as evidence of its focus on patient safety and quality care.
