Fardin Ehsan Swadhin, the son of popular Dhallywood actors Omar Sani and Moushumi, has issued a 24-hour ultimatum to Facebook pages accused of publishing misleading reports about his mother.

He has warned that he will pursue legal action if they fail to take down the disputed material within the specified time.

Taking to Facebook early on Wednesday, 14 October, Fardin said he would serve legal notices and initiate lawsuits against the pages if they ignored his warning.

Expressing his deep affection for his mother, he wrote, “My mother is the crown of my head.” His post also conveyed his frustration over what he considers false information directed at his family.

To support his allegations, Fardin uploaded screenshots of two Facebook pages that he claimed had circulated inaccurate accounts concerning his parents and their family affairs.

He also provided a link to a video in the post, although the footage was unavailable when the link was later checked.

The dispute emerged after social media posts alleged that Fardin had put his family’s properties under his own name and made his mother leave a house in the United States.

Omar Sani subsequently rejected the allegations, describing them as entirely unfounded. The actor explained that his son is currently based in Dubai, whereas Moushumi lives in the United States.

He further maintained that the family has no property in the country.

Following his son’s response, Omar Sani reposted Fardin’s statement on his own Facebook timeline and expressed appreciation for his decision to challenge the claims.

Whether the two Facebook pages will comply with Fardin’s demand and remove the disputed posts before the deadline remains uncertain.
