Saudi Arabia’s Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, Eng Waleed Elkhereji, arrived in Dhaka tonight for a two-day official visit intended to facilitate engagements with the Bangladesh government.
Upon his arrival at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, the Saudi vice minister was received by Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Adviser Humayun Kabir, according to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Eng Elkhereji is scheduled to conduct official engagements during his brief stay before his departure from Bangladesh tomorrow afternoon.
The visit underscores the ongoing close bilateral cooperation between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia, which spans several key sectors including labour migration, trade, investment, and regional issues.
