Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has held a bilateral meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The meeting took place on the 34th floor of the Secretariat Building at the UN Headquarters, where the two leaders discussed various aspects of bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Pakistan.
During the discussion, a constructive exchange of views was held on matters of mutual interest, the regional and international situation, and potential areas of cooperation for the welfare of the people of both countries.
Both prime ministers emphasised the importance of advancing relations between the two nations on the foundation of mutual respect, understanding, and cooperation. Furthermore, the leaders underscored the need to maintain regular communication and dialogue on issues of common interest.
