Shakib Khan-starrer ‘Rockstar’ will begin its international run on June 5, with screenings scheduled in 41 cinemas across the US, Canada and the UK.
The film’s overseas release is being handled by Swapna Scarecrow, which has secured 30 theatres in the US, seven in Canada and four in the UK for its first week.
According to distribution sources, Rockstar will be screened in 19 AMC theatres, seven Regal locations, two Cinemark venues and two Showcase cinemas across the US.
In Canada, the film will be shown on seven Cineplex screens, while audiences in the United Kingdom will be able to watch it at four Cineworld locations.
Industry observers have described the scale of the release as a notable achievement, particularly given the competition for screens during a busy period in the North American market. They believe the number of venues could increase if the film performs strongly during its opening week.
The international rollout comes as Rockstar continues its domestic run in Bangladesh, where it has been screening in 103 cinemas since Eid.
Directed by Azman Rusho, the film follows the rise of a rock musician, tracing his growing fame, personal struggles and eventual downfall.
Alongside Shakib Khan, the cast includes Sabila Nur, Tangia Zaman Methila and Sunidhi Nayak in prominent roles.
