Ritesh Pal from Raipur has won ‘India’s Best Dancer Season 5’ with his choreographer Pratik Utekar after a competitive season of performances, writes NDTV.
Ritesh impressed judges and viewers with his versatility and won the Battle trophy three times. In the grand finale, he competed against Dipali Borkar, Prathamesh Mane, Anshika Dhara and Geetanjali Marwaha.
Judges Karisma Kapoor, Jaaved Jaaferi, Geeta Kapur and Terence Lewis declared Ritesh the winner.
Calling the victory a dream come true, Ritesh thanked the judges, his fellow contestants and Pratik for supporting his journey. He also said Geeta Kapur holds a special place in his heart.
Pratik described the victory as a proud and emotional moment, praising Ritesh’s growth and trust in his creative ideas.
Both began with contemporary dance backgrounds but explored different styles during the show. Ritesh also received a cash prize of Rs 15 lakh.
