FIFA released the latest women’s rankings on Tuesday with Bangladesh staying 112th despite a small drop in points, just one day before the SAFF draw takes place in Dhaka.

Bangladesh now have 1166 points, down by two from the previous ranking. The position remains unchanged, which reflects stable results rather than clear progress.

Their Asian Cup campaign shaped that outcome. They earned rating points despite defeats to stronger sides like China and North Korea, but the loss to Uzbekistan reduced their overall tally.

The SAFF draw, scheduled in Dhaka, will use these rankings to determine the pots. Bangladesh remain among the higher-ranked teams in South Asia.
