“I have suffered for 30 years,” Popy said in an emotional voice. “They never understood my pain. They always used me as a money-making machine. Their demands had no end. The more they got, the more their demands grew.”
She added, “I still have not recovered from the trauma I suffered in my stepmother’s household.”
