Actor Margaret Qualley and Grammy-winning musician Jack Antonoff have filed for divorce, ending their marriage of three years.
According to the Associated Press, court records show that the divorce case was filed on Friday in Kings County Supreme Court in Brooklyn, New York. The case is listed as an uncontested matrimonial action, with Qualley named as the plaintiff and Antonoff as the defendant.
The couple married on 19 August 2023 in Beach Haven, Long Beach Island, New Jersey. They began dating in 2021 after meeting at a rooftop party in New York and became engaged in May 2022 in Cannes, France.
Their relationship had drawn attention in recent months after Antonoff attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding ceremony alone in July, prompting speculation about a possible separation.
Representatives for both Qualley and Antonoff did not respond to requests for comment.
In an interview with The Guardian last week, Antonoff discussed performing songs inspired by his relationship with Qualley following their reported split.
His band Bleachers released its latest album, ‘Everyone for Ten Minutes’, in May, featuring several tracks about the relationship.
Antonoff said he had considered changing his setlist but decided against it, explaining that he wanted to remain honest about his feelings and the experiences behind his songs.
He also said he had no shame about what he had written and did not want to rewrite his past.
Qualley is known for films including ‘The Substance’ and ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’, as well as the series ‘Maid’.
Antonoff is a 14-time Grammy-winning songwriter and producer who has worked with Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey and Sabrina Carpenter. He is also a member of Bleachers.
