Rancon Global Trucks Ltd has become the exclusive distributor of JAC Motors in Bangladesh, strengthening the Chinese automaker’s presence in one of South Asia’s fastest-growing vehicle markets and expanding Rancon Group’s automotive portfolio.

Under the agreement, Rancon Global Trucks will manage nationwide sales, after-sales service and genuine spare parts support for JAC Motors’ product lineup, which includes commercial vehicles, pickup trucks and premium four-wheel-drive models.

The partnership adds JAC Motors to a stable of international automotive brands represented by Rancon Group, which already operates businesses involving Mercedes-Benz cars and buses, Mitsubishi Motors, MG and Suzuki motorcycles.

The company said it plans to leverage its experience in the automotive sector to expand JAC’s market reach while improving customer service and ownership experience across Bangladesh.

As part of the expansion strategy, Rancon Global Trucks is establishing a network of 3S centres – sales, service and spare parts facilities – across the country. Several centres have already been launched, with additional outlets planned in the coming months.

The facilities are designed to support commercial vehicle operators and long-haul transport businesses through integrated vehicle sales, maintenance, technical assistance and genuine spare parts services.

The company has also introduced the JAC T9 Hunter 4×4, a premium pickup aimed at both commercial and lifestyle users.

Powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the vehicle produces 168 horsepower and 410 Nm of torque.

The T9 Hunter features an electric sunroof, leather interior, premium audio system, 360-degree camera and advanced four-wheel-drive capability, combining passenger vehicle comfort with off-road performance.

Rancon Global Trucks said the model is positioned to compete in Bangladesh’s growing sport utility and premium pickup vehicle segment, offering features comparable to higher-priced alternatives.

The company expects its nationwide sales and service network, combined with prompt spare parts availability and customer support, to strengthen JAC Motors’ competitiveness in Bangladesh’s commercial and utility vehicle market.

Customers can explore the JAC vehicle range, arrange test drives and place orders through the brand’s flagship showroom in Tejgaon, Dhaka, the company said.
