Dhaka Metropolitan Police Detective Branch (DB) has arrested Mizanur Rahman, an accused named in the case regarding an attack on New Gini Properties, from the capital’s Paschim Matikata area under Cantonment Police Station.
A team from the DB Gulshan Division conducted a drive in the area at around 5pm on Monday and arrested him.
According to DB police, Mizanur is the number nine accused listed in the First Information Report (FIR), which was filed with Cantonment Police Station on 27 September.
DB sources say the suspect was arrested on charges of involvement in the attack on New Gini Properties, and legal action against him is currently underway.
