The two-day RAJUK National SciSpark 4.0 science festival concluded successfully on 12 June at Rajuk Uttara Model College, bringing together students from across the country to showcase their scientific talents.
The festival, held on 11 and 12 June, featured Chemistry and Biology Olympiads on the first day, with students from various parts of Bangladesh participating. The day was further enriched by inspiring seminars conducted by renowned Bangladeshi astrophotographer Zubuyer Kaolin and Kazi Rakib Hasan of ACS Future School.
The second day’s main attractions included “Search The Treasure,” “Cube Master,” and “Project Display.” Throughout the day, young innovators presented more than 200 science-based projects.
A special highlight was the presence of the IUT Mars Rover Team, which secured 10th place in the International Rover Design Competition 2023. Their participation inspired and excited students from across the festival.
The two-day event concluded with a closing and prize-giving ceremony. Professor Md Kaykobad of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) attended as chief guest. Founder of 10 Minute School Ayman Sadiq was the special guest.
Closing remarks were delivered by Rajuk Uttara Model College Principal Brigadier General Saiful Haque Ahmed. Also present were the Officer-in-Charge of Rajuk College Science Club, Md Shahjalal, President Sheikh Farhan, along with other distinguished guests.
A total of 162 participants were declared winners across 20 events in various categories. The winners were awarded crests, medals, and certificates.
