Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been announced as one of the presenters for the 98th Academy Awards, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences confirmed recently.
The global star will join an impressive lineup of presenters, including Robert Downey Jr., Anne Hathaway, Paul Mescal, Gwyneth Paltrow and Will Arnett. Additional presenters already revealed include Adrien Brody, Javier Bardem, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Chase Infiniti, Mikey Madison, Demi Moore, Kumail Nanjiani, Maya Rudolph and Zoe Saldaña.
The 98th Academy Awards ceremony is scheduled for March 15 at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles. It will be hosted by comedian Conan O’Brien and broadcast live on ABC, with streaming available on Hulu.
This marks a return for Priyanka Chopra Jonas to the Oscars stage, having previously served as a presenter at the 88th Academy Awards in 2016, where she presented the Best Film Editing award alongside actor Liev Schreiber.
The upcoming ceremony is shaping up to be historic, with Ryan Coogler’s “Sinners” leading the nominations with a record-breaking 16 nods—the highest number ever received by a single film in Academy history. This surpasses previous records held by films like All About Eve, Titanic and La La Land – each with 14.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas was most recently seen in the action-thriller ‘The Bluff’. She is also slated to appear in the upcoming second season of the spy series ‘Citadel’.
