Oscar-nominated actress Amanda Seyfried has rejected a television role because of its frequent sex scenes, saying, “I don’t wanna deal with being naked with a stranger.”

Speaking to Alec Baldwin at the Hamptons International Film Festival, according to Variety, she said: “I don’t wanna do it. I’m uncomfortable with it. I’m not into it right now.” She added that she might feel differently if the project returned later.

Seyfried previously told Porter she tolerated uncomfortable situations at 19 because she feared losing work: “I was 19 and I didn’t want to upset anybody and I wanted to keep my job.”

Now a mother, she is setting firmer boundaries. She refuses fan-photo requests when with her children, saying their experiences matter more than hers. Her daughter Nina praised her for saying no.
