The story is filled with love, but more than love, it tells the story of an endless wait that will stay with the audience. The main character of the story is missing. Neither his mother nor his newly married wife knows whether he is alive or dead.
This is the premise of the Eid special drama Prematal, a story of painful, loving waiting. The two main characters are played by Tausif Mahbub and Naznin Niha. The drama is produced under the banner of CMV and directed by Hasib Hossain Rakhi. Cinematography for the recently completed shoot was handled by Suman Hossain.
The director prefers not to reveal any major plot clues. He only said the story is about a mother’s wait for her son and a wife’s wait for her husband. Within and beyond that wait lies love, frustration, drama, and brutality.
Producer SK Sahed Ali Pappu said such scripts are rare these days. Prematal is therefore expected to be one of the most important productions of the company this Eid. The drama will be released during the Eid festival on CMV’s YouTube channel.
