Singer Dilshad Nahar Kona has once again addressed rumours about her love life, saying she is currently “super single” following her divorce.
Rumours of a new relationship have surfaced several times since her separation, but Kona has consistently denied them. In a recent interview, she was asked whether reports of her being in love were true or simply rumours. Her response was brief: “Rumour.”
Kona then made it clear that she is currently completely single. At the same time, she revealed what she wants in a future partner.
“I want someone who will love me. Someone who is just like Kona, who will stay only with me,” she said.
Her comments suggest that while she is not currently in a relationship, she values love, emotional compatibility and commitment in a future partner.
Kona publicly announced her divorce in June last year. She ended her six-year marriage to Golam Mohammad Iftekhar Gahin on 16 June 2025.
In a social media post announcing the divorce, Kona wrote, “I am your beloved Kona.”
She also said, “Birth, death and marriage—all are Allah’s will. Similarly, any separation also happens by His indication. With a heavy heart, I am informing all my well-wishers and loved ones that after six years of marriage, Golam Mohammad Iftekhar Gahin and I completed our divorce on 16 June 2025.”
Kona married Gahin in 2019. Six years later, they ended their marriage.
Although she is not involved in a new relationship at present, the singer’s latest comments indicate that she remains open to finding someone she can love in the future.
