Kareena Kapoor has fuelled speculation about a reunion with Shah Rukh Khan in his upcoming film King, sharing a dance-themed photograph of the two actors and hinting at something special on 24 December 2026.

According to Hindustan Times, Kareena posted the black-and-white silhouette on Instagram on Shah Rukh’s 61st birthday. The image shows the two actors facing each other, seemingly poised to dance, with dramatic lighting in the background. Although she did not explain the significance of the date or confirm a collaboration, reports have suggested that the pair could reunite for a special song in King.

Kareena accompanied the picture with a birthday message for the superstar, calling him the “forever Ruler of the kingdom”.
The post has prompted speculation about the nature of their next collaboration. The two actors have previously shared screen space in films including Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Ra.One and Asoka, as well as a special song in Don.
