BYD Bangladesh, in collaboration with the BYD Seal 5 Bangladesh Group, organised a community get-together for more than 45 BYD Seal 5 owners recently.
The event began at the ICCB Gate beside the 300 Feet Purbachal Express Highway, where owners gathered for a convoy drive. The group travelled along the expressway through Bashundhara and onto Madani Avenue before reaching the BYD Experience Zone at Chef’s Table Courtside, said a press release on Monday.
A key part of the event was a direct interaction between the owners and the BYD Bangladesh team, where participants shared feedback, suggestions and queries with the management. The company said these discussions provided insights into the ownership experience and allowed the team to understand customer concerns.
Following the interaction, guests enjoyed refreshments before the event concluded with a group photoshoot.
BYD Bangladesh said it aims to maintain regular engagement with its customers and build stronger relationships with its owner community through such initiatives, focusing on improving the ownership experience through customer feedback.
Founded in 1995 as a battery manufacturer in Shenzhen, China, BYD (Build Your Dreams) has grown into a global high-tech company operating across automobiles, electronics, renewable energy and rail transit. The company entered the automobile industry in 2003 and became one of the first to mass-produce plug-in hybrid vehicles in 2008. BYD launched its signature Blade Battery in 2020 and has since become one of the world’s largest manufacturers of new energy vehicles.
BYD entered the Bangladesh market in March 2024 through its official distributor, introducing models such as the Atto 3 and Seal. The brand has since expanded its lineup and is working towards local assembly through a partnership with Runner Automobiles PLC.
