With 16 million Facebook followers, actress Pori Moni is set to appear in the 10th episode of Maasranga Television’s popular podcast ‘Behind the Fame with RRK’.
The special episode will air on Maasranga Television and Radio Din Raat 93.6 FM at 9:00 pm today.
In the 100-minute episode, Pori Moni opens up about her life and career like never before. Displaying a more thoughtful and mature outlook, she said, “Now I work with a lot of consideration, something I didn’t do before.” She credited her children for bringing about this change.

Speaking to host Rumman Rashid Khan, Pori Moni shared, “I had no savings until now. But these days, I save money every month for my children. Even if I earn just two taka, I want them to enjoy it when they grow up.”
With her trademark humour, she added, “I’m now the mother of Punya and Priyam, but I want to be the mother of 98 more, a mother of 100 children in total! I want to raise them well. May Allah bless them with wealth so they can grow into good human beings. A person or an actress named Pori Moni may fail in many ways, but as a mother, I will never let myself fail.”
Reflecting on her early days, Pori Moni revealed that before entering films, she had enrolled in a dance school. However, after witnessing the skill of celebrated dancer Sadia Islam Mou, she became intimidated and never returned to class.
On the death anniversary of her beloved grandfather in Barishal, Pori Moni personally cooked beef for about 2,500 people and supervised the entire feast.
