Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Wednesday met with teachers and students from various educational institutions across the country who arrived to witness Parliament session.

The prime minister held the meeting prior to the commencement of the parliamentary proceedings. During the interaction, he exchanged greetings and enquired about the students’ academic progress.

Addressing the visiting groups, Tarique urged the students to develop themselves as skilled, qualified, and ideal citizens to contribute effectively to the nation-building process. He further encouraged them to place importance on physical education as well as the pursuit of arts and culture.

The visit was organised as part of an initiative by BNP government to provide teachers and students from across the country with the opportunity to observe sessions of Parliament firsthand.

Upon their arrival at the parliament in the afternoon, the visitors toured the unique architectural features of the building, visited the Parliament Library, and took commemorative photographs at various locations. They subsequently watched the live proceedings of Parliament session.

Students from Jinjira Girls’ High School expressed their sincere gratitude to the prime minister for providing them with the opportunity to witness the parliamentary session directly.
