Nahid Rana made a huge leap in the ICC ODI bowling rankings after his match-winning spell against Australia in Mirpur.

The Bangladesh fast bowler climbed 23 places to reach 24th in the latest ICC rankings with 535 rating points. Rana had previously been ranked 47th.

The jump came after his impressive performance in the first ODI against Australia at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. The 22-year-old took 4 wickets for 41 runs in 10 overs and regularly troubled the Australian batters with pace and bounce.
