Erling Haaland sparked injury concerns after limping off during Norway’s 2-1 Nations League defeat by Portugal on Monday.
The Manchester City striker signalled to the bench for a substitution in the 67th minute of the Group A4 match, with Jorgen Strand Larsen replacing him.
Haaland has scored seven goals for City this season and the club will now await further news before Sunday’s Premier League trip to Liverpool.
Norway suffered a third successive Nations League defeat as Goncalo Ramos scored a late winner to send Portugal into the quarter-finals.
The hosts took the lead in the 36th minute when Brentford defender Kristoffer Ajer controlled Martin Odegaard’s cross on his chest before firing a half-volley into the top corner from the edge of the box.
Portugal responded two minutes later through Joao Cancelo, who struck a superb shot on the bounce from a similar distance after Nuno Mendes’ long throw.
Haaland went close before his substitution, dragging an effort wide, but Portugal found the decisive goal with 11 minutes remaining.
Joao Felix laid the ball off for Ramos, who finished from close range to seal Portugal’s fourth successive win in the competition.
Portugal finished with 10 men after Francisco Conceicao received two bookings for dissent in the 87th minute.
The match marked Portugal’s third game without Cristiano Ronaldo since the captain left the national-team camp last week after being dropped.
Coach Jorge Jesus said Ronaldo could return if he wants to.
“If he wants to, he’ll return to the national team,” Jesus said.
Portugal now lead the group by six points from Denmark, who beat Wales 1-0, with two games remaining. Norway sit bottom of the group.
