Popular model and actress Priyanka Zaman became a mother on 26 June. She and her husband named their daughter Mariam. The couple are overjoyed to have welcomed a baby girl.

Now, Priyanka has another reason to celebrate. Her daughter has made her media debut with the same brand that marked the beginning of Priyanka’s own journey in the industry.

Priyanka started her media career 12 years ago as a model for a Grameenphone billboard. Exactly 12 years later, her three-month-old daughter Mariam has also entered the media as a model for a Grameenphone billboard.

The coincidence has left Priyanka delighted and excited. Mariam’s photoshoot was completed a few days ago.

“I started my media journey at the age of 19, in 2014. My daughter’s journey has begun at just three months old. I cannot express in words how happy this makes me. Mariam has also received a fee. She received exactly the same fee that I received 12 years ago. That makes me extremely happy,” Priyanka said.

Priyanka has not yet worked in any new drama since becoming a mother. She has, however, been appearing at various award ceremonies. The actress said she will start work on several new dramas within the next few days.

Before her marriage, Priyanka completed work last year on the 26-episode serial drama Murder in Sunamganj. Kamrul Huda wrote the drama, while Kamrul Hasan Sujon directed it.

Priyanka’s most recently released film was Jemon Jamai Temon Bou, produced by Dipjol.

She also has three unreleased films awaiting their releases. They are Mannan Gazipuri’s Ki Kore Bolbo Tomay, Apurbo Rana’s Jontrona and Mohammad Aslam’s Tobuo Prem Dami.
