A native of Jhenaidah, Suman made his acting debut in 2016 with Sokal Ahmed’s drama ‘Surer Alo’. Written by Brindabon Das, the drama also featured Milon, Kusum Shikder, Joyraj and Arsha, among others.

Over the past few years, Suman has also acted in dramas by several acclaimed directors, including Al Hazen, Amirul Islam Arun, Maruf Mithu, Maruf Hossain Sajib, Sarniabat Shawon and SR Majumdar.

Speaking about his decision to make acting his profession, Suman said, “To be honest, I am acting because life requires it. I have to look after my entire family. Many people have given me opportunities to work in dramas and films out of affection and because they see me as someone they can rely on. But I also love acting immensely. That is why, after completing my honours in political science and working for a while, I chose acting as my profession. I want to keep acting for the rest of my life. I am sincerely grateful to all the directors and producers of my dramas and films. I have immense love for the audience.”
