The local administration conducted mobile court drives at filling stations in Rajbari to stabilise petroleum prices and prevent any artificial shortage.
The mobile court drives were conducted at Palash Filling Station, Rajbari Filling Station, Saptabarna Filling Station, Karim Filling Station, and Kazi Filling Station in Rajbari Sadar upazila.
Executive Magistrates Md Ashikuzzaman and Md Ariful Haque led the drives.
During the operations, the overall stock, demand, and supply of petrol, octane, and diesel were checked. Filling stations were warned not to charge extra or create artificial shortages.
The magistrates also urged customers present at the stations not to hoard excessive fuel and to act responsibly.
“Such drives by the district administration will continue to keep petroleum supplies normal,” said Executive Magistrate Ashikuzzaman.
