Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC has recently held the 136th meeting of its Shariah Supervisory Committee at the bank’s head office board room.
The committee discussed Product Processing Guidelines for various investment products and Shariah inspection reports, and emphasised conducting bank activities in strict compliance with Shariah principles and ensuring Shariah-compliant banking services for customers, said a press release on Sunday.
Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC Shariah Supervisory Committee Chairman Professor Dr Abu Noman Md Rafiqur Rahman presided over the meeting.
Shariah Supervisory Committee members Md Anwar Hossain Mulla, Muhammad Ruhul Amin Rabbani, Hafiz Mujtaba Reza Ahmad and Abul Kashem Mohammad Fazlul Haque attended.
Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC Managing Director Rafat Ulla Khan and Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC EVP and Acting Secretary of the Shariah Supervisory Committee Md Kabir Ahmad were also present.
