Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan is enjoying a career high, taking a more selective approach to his projects while carefully planning release dates.
Currently, he is shooting ‘Prince: Once Upon a Time in Dhaka’, scheduled for release this Eid. At the same time, preparations are already underway for his next Eid release, the film Rockstar.
Sources close to the production say two actresses will star opposite Shakib Khan in Rockstar. One of them is Miss Universe Bangladesh Tangia Zaman Methila. This will be the first time the pair appear together on screen.
The identity of the second lead has yet to be confirmed, though it is reported she will be a well-known Pakistani actress, generating significant curiosity within the film community.
Director Azman Russo told the media, “I do not want to comment on the heroine selection at this stage. The second lead will be announced in a few days if everything is finalised.” Methila herself has remained reserved on the topic, stating, “It would not be right to comment on the film unless everything is finalised.”
According to several insiders, Methila has already attended multiple meetings with Russo and has been involved in discussions regarding the story and her character. The production team has not yet confirmed whether she will remain the lead or whether the Pakistani actress will take the role.
