Mahabubur Rahman has always had a deep passion for the media industry since childhood.
His personality, mannerisms and way of speaking have often led people around him to see leading-man qualities in him.
Encouraged by friends and well-wishers to pursue a career in entertainment, he has finally stepped into the industry after years of putting it off.
Mahabub has made his modelling debut through two upcoming music videos, both of which have already completed filming.
His supporters are now eagerly waiting for their release.
In the song Bhalobashi Tomay Ami (I Love You), Mahabub stars opposite Konok Meem, a Top 10 finalist of the 2025 Lux Superstar competition from Rajbari.
The track is written, composed and musically arranged by Wahed Shahin, while vocals have been provided by Rubel Khandakar.
His second project is the music video for Pori (Fairy), sung by Nobel.
The lyrics are written by Salauddin Sagar, the tune is composed by Polok Hasan Sumon and the music arrangement is by A.N. Farhad.
Popular content creator Sumaiya appears opposite Mahabub in the video.
Both music videos have been directed by young filmmaker Md. Samsul Huda, who has previously earned acclaim and awards for his work in the music video industry.
Filming for both story-driven videos took place last week at scenic locations in Cox’s Bazar. According to director Samsul Huda, the music videos will be released soon on the Cine Jagat Official YouTube channel.
Sharing his excitement, Mahabubur Rahman said, “My love and passion for the media inspired me to work as a model in music videos. Samsul Huda bhai encouraged me immensely and helped me become more conscious about fashion. Because of his guidance, I was able to complete both projects comfortably. I tried my best to present myself in the most fashionable way possible. I am sincerely grateful to him and very optimistic about both music videos.”
Kanak Mim also expressed her enthusiasm, saying, “Although I have appeared in front of the camera before, this is my first music video. I truly enjoyed working as a model in Bhalobashi Tomay Ami under the direction of Samsul Huda bhai. I am very excited and hopeful about the project.”
