The Bangladesh Army has urged the public not to be misled by false and motivated information circulating online and on social media about the Army and the Chief of Army Staff.
In a press release issued on Saturday, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate said such information appeared to be aimed at creating public confusion and tarnishing the Army’s image.
The ISPR called on everyone not to be influenced by the propaganda and to rely on official and credible sources for information about the Bangladesh Army and the Chief of Army Staff.
The release said the Army remains united, guided by a strong chain of command, mutual trust, discipline and professionalism.
It also reaffirmed the Army’s commitment to fulfilling its responsibilities to the country and its people.
