Taylor Swift has reached a major milestone in music history, joining The Beatles as the only acts to spend at least 100 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, writes Billboard.
The American singer achieved the feat as her album The Life of a Showgirl returned to the top of the chart for its 14th non-consecutive week, on the chart dated 17 October, 2026.
Swift has now accumulated 100 weeks at No. 1 across her 15 chart-topping albums.
The Beatles remain ahead with a total of 132 weeks at the summit. The legendary British band last topped the chart with their greatest hits album 1, which completed its final week at No. 1 in February 2001.
Swift’s latest achievement follows the renewed success of The Life of a Showgirl, which climbed from No. 21 to the top spot after a deluxe edition arrived on 25 September.
The reissue featured four previously unreleased songs, including “Patient Zero”, which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Among other artists, Elvis Presley ranks third for cumulative weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, with 67 weeks.
Swift’s 15 albums that have reached the top include The Tortured Poets Department, 1989, Fearless, Red, Midnights and folklore.
Her latest milestone reflects the continued commercial strength of her catalogue across multiple stages of her career.
The Billboard 200 ranks the most popular albums in the United States each week, using a combination of album sales, track-equivalent album units and streaming-equivalent album units.
