Kolkata actress Jyotirmoyee Kundu has been confirmed as the second heroine in Shakib Khan’s upcoming Eid release, ‘Prince: Once Upon a Time in Dhaka’. Director Abu Hayat Mahmud had previously stated that the film would feature two heroines, with Tanjin Tisha’s involvement announced last week.
Multiple sources associated with the production company Creative Land have confirmed the news to the media. Jyotirmoyee has reportedly already signed her contract for the film. Earlier, another Kolkata actress, Idhika Pal, had been considered for the role.
The shooting of this action-packed movie, produced by Shirin Sultana, is scheduled to begin in the first week of December.
Jyotirmoyee made her acting debut in Kolkata’s popular television serial ‘Bodhua’. She also appeared opposite well-known Kolkata actor Dev in ‘Projapoti 2’, which is slated for release in December.
