Farhan Ahmed Jovan and Tanjim Saiyara Totini, one of the most popular on-screen pairs at present, are set to appear together in a special Eid drama titled ‘Mon Foring’.
Produced under the banner of CMV, the drama has been written and directed by Imraul Rafat, who also developed the screenplay. Cinematography has been done by Naeem Fuad.
Keeping majority of the plot under wraps, Rafat has shared that the narrative centres on Sumon, an NGO worker from a small town in Barisal, and Rekha, an honours student from a wealthy family in the same area. Another key character, Miraj, plays an important role in the plot. While the audience will witness the romantic dynamic between Miraj and Rekha, Rafat noted that the story primarily revolves around Sumon.
According to the director, the drama presents a love triangle with elements of longing and separation, which he believes will feel fresh to viewers. The cast also includes Lutfor Rahman George and Saberi Alam in significant roles.
Producer SK Shahed Ali Pappu has said that CMV is preparing 20 special dramas for the upcoming Eid festival, with Mon Foring being one of the highlights.
Mon Foring is scheduled to premiere on CMV’s official YouTube channel during Eid.
